  • The Oakland Farms-to-Schools program brings affordable fresh produce to public schools in East Oakland. The program is collaboration between the Oakland Unified School District and the Oakland Farms-to-School Network; it supports local farms and provides alternatives and options that do not usually exist for many members of these communities. It encourages healthier eating especially in Oakland’s public schools. The schedule of school produce markets times and location follows. These are put on weekly by parents, staff, and volunteers.
