Public-Private Partnerships

Work Group Description

This group will develop and solicit ideas for partnerships between private sector and public sector entities. These new partnerships will be designed to meet our goal of a more equitable and sustainable Oakland food system. This group's activities will include arranging a forum for institutional procurement managers to talk with food producers, distributors, and wholesalers.

OFPC In Action

The OFPC meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month (except Nov and Dec) at 5:00 pm, 1000 Broadway, 5th Floor.

The OFPC meets as a full body on the 3rd Thurs of Jan, Mar, May, Jul, and Sep. Work group meetings take place on the 3rd Thurs of Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, and Oct.

The next meeting of the full Council is on 9/16/2010.

The next workgroup meetings are on 8/19/2010.

All meetings are open to the public.
